Achieving peak performance requires a methodical approach to training based on the latest science. Head for the Hills coach Griffin Knight is a highly qualified and experienced mountain bike and cyclocross coach. He creates structured training plans that are tailored to the individual athlete, enhancing their strengths, developing their limiters and complimenting their lifestyle and commitments.
Basic Training Plan
$12 per week (minimum 12 weeks)
The Basic Training Plan is for athletes who want help setting goals and building structure into their training. Griffin will help you identify SMART goals and work with you to set an appropriate training load based on a range of variables. He will deliver monthly training schedules and adjust your plan as required.
The Basic Training Plan includes:
- Introductory planning meeting (1 hour approx)
- Monthly check-in meeting (30 minutes approx)
- Monthly training plan delivered straight to your email
We recommend athletes use the following devices to get the most out of their Basic Training Plan:
- Cycling computer to track distance & intervals
Development Training Plan
$59 per week (minimum 26 weeks)
The Development Training Plan is for athletes who want maximise their training and performance. Griffin will work with you to coordinate your goals and create a plan to achieve them. He will deliver and track your training schedule through Today’s Plan as well as adjust your training load and intensity as required.
The Development Training Plan includes:
- Introductory planning meeting
- Check-in meetings as required
- Premium Today’s Plan account
- Athlete testing
- Scheduled training plan delivered in Today’s Plan
- Analysis & feedback post training
- Athlete mentoring & education
We recommend athletes on use the following devices to get the most out of their Development Training Plan:
- GPS Cycling computer (Garmin, Wahoo etc)
- Heart rate monitor
- Power Meter (optional)
- Ergo (trainer) / rollers
