MTB Skills – Angaston, Barossa Valley

One of the newest mountain bike trails in the state recently opened in Angaston. The short and sweet loop is packed with features and Head for the Hills is running a day of skills clinics for kids in November.

Beginner MTB Skills Clinic

Learn new bike handling & control skills in a 2 hour session led by Head for the Hills coaches. The beginner clinic will cover basic mountain biking techniques like balance, body position and how to ride small obstacles.

Recommended Age:9 – 13 years
Ability:Beginner

Recommended Age: 9 – 13 years

The beginner clinic is designed for riders with little to no mountain biking experience. We will cover topics such as:

  • Balance & control skills
  • Correct body position
  • Braking techniques
  • Navigating small obstacles

Intermediate MTB Skills Clinic

Develop your mountain biking skills in a 2 hour session led by Head for the Hills coaches. The intermediate clinic will cover topics such as riding actively, wheel lifts and drop-offs.

National Parks SA – Park of the Month

The Belair National Park is the Park of the Month for October! To celebrate, we are offering beginner mountain biking skills clinics for kids in Australias first National Park.

Beginner MTB Skills Clinic

This clinic will teach participants bike handling & control skills in a 90 minute session led by Head for the Hills Coaches. The course will cover basic mountain biking techniques and include a guided ride so participants can put their new skills to use!
