National Parks and Wildlife Service SA – Park of the Month
National Parks and Wildlife Service SA are showcasing Kinchina Conservation Park in the Park of the Month program for August! To celebrate, we are offering beginner mountain biking skills clinics on August 27.


Beginner MTB Skills Clinic
This clinic will teach participants bike handling & control skills in a 2 hour session led by Head for the Hills Coaches. The course will cover basic mountain biking techniques and include a guided ride so participants can put their new skills to use!

Topics Covered
The beginner clinic is designed for riders with little to no mountain biking experience. We will cover topics such as:
- Balance & control skills
- Correct body position
- Braking techniques
- Navigating small obstacles
PLEASE NOTE:
- Riders must be able to ride on 2 wheels confidently to complete this clinic.
- Participants who wish to use their own bike should ensure that their bike has gears, large diameter wheels (24″ or above) and is in good working order.

City of Burnside – Intermediate Holiday Skills
The City of Burnside is offeirng it’s youth an opportunity to sharpen their mountain biking skills in the October school holidays! The cost of this program has been subsidised by the Burnside Council who is also offering transport to and from the event.
